In 2009 Yusef Gage, previously convicted of attempted murder, received $26,000 from a taxicab accident which he injured his leg that resulted in surgical pin placement. Then a month or so after the accident scammed his then landlord by a "trip and fall due to unsecured, loose and/or defective carpeting on stairs". Thereby re-injuring the same leg and "ruptured [his] left Achilles tendon requiring surgery" along with "aggravation of pre-existing conditions", as per public court records. The settlement was only $5,000 but he has been collecting SSD since then. As you can see Yusef Gage is NOT disabled.
